January 04 UPDATE On my LifeGood Evening!
I know it has been several months since my last entry. Wow... where to begin.... Thanksgiving came and went..... We all survived that holiday, eventhough it wasnt the most plesent with the loss of my family...I have been working at a local gorcery store since November 17th. I think I am finally getting a bit of a promotion... I signed up to work at the service desk & Fuel center and was told that I should get the position. This is kinda a promotion as it is a higher paying position ( $7.81/ hr or something like that) I am making $6.91/hr now and am a C.C. or Courtesy Clerk - fancy name for Bagger lol.
December was a tough month for me. My birthday was the 23rd and I had a very tough time working hte day before, so I had spoken to the assistant manager and asked if I could have my borthday off because it was hard for me as it was my first since loosing my mother. So... for my birthday, I went with my boys to the mall and got everyone something and just enjoyed the day and time with them. Then Paul was suppose to P/U the boys on X-mas eve... and couldnt . We had a blizzard that dumped about 3 feet of snow on us ( YUCK!!!). Then I decided to be nice to him and dropped off the boys late afternoon on X-mas day ( he did pay me gas money). So at this point I had found a way to get through my birthday as well as christmas day as well as the first blizzard of '06. Almost a week later to the day we had a big snow storm hit us... this storm dumped about 18 inches on top of the 3 feet we were already were trying to dig ourselves out of LOL. Next came New Years eve. Well...Chuck, me & my brother (Rob) ended up having the night off so we all decided to go downtown and bring in the new year together. Well... Chuck ended up being a pill and kept complaining that he was cold.... yes it was cold, but we tried to waste time indoors as much as we could.... then went outside about 5 minutes b4 the new year arrived. By the way - we arrived downtown a bit after 9pm. They had fireworks go off @ 9pm for families that had kids so they could watch the fireworks... well we saw them go off as we were driving into downtown. Well it was about 5 minutes b4 the new year and all 3 of us went outside... well just after midnight I bent over and tried to give Chuck a New Years Kiss. This moment was SUPPOSE to be special to me. To me it ment saying good-bye to a rotten year and Getting this new year off to a good start. Needless to say, kissing an ice cube would have been so much warmer than the kiss I received from him.... just a very quick peck... and not even on the lips *sigh*.... so that hurt me real bad and it really ruined the dya for me... later that day we did end up talking about it and making up, but I was pissed for several hours afterwards.
Other than that... life has been going on for me... Next wednesday is the 1 year passing of my mother. I requested the 9th & 10th off from my work. I visited with my brother today and him and I are planning a trip to Pueblo on Wednesday as long as the weather cooperates to visit my mom and grandfather. That I know will be a tough day... not sure whats going on with my sister Laura on Wednesday yet. I am chatting with my brother online now and just asked him if he could call our sister and see if she had any plans for wednesday so maybe we could all meet up
 .Well I will close this entry for now. I will post recent pics as soon as I can.
