    Getting sick for the first time this season

    Good afternoon,
     
    Yes I am sick for the first time this season...UGH! I hate being sick...ya you get to get away form yucky work, BUT... you make no money, and you get to do nothing but lay in bed and moan & groan lol... This came on fast... I just started feeling a sore throat on sunday when I went to bed... then Monday I was feeling a bit drained of energy when I was at work...by the time I got home and tried to relax on Monday, I was toast...I just felt worse and worse all evening/ night. I took Nyquil when I got home so I could sleep... I watched the Broncos vs Packers on and off all evening... by 9pm, I KNEW I could not go into work today, so I called off... I really hated to do that... I have been trying to decide if I should go into work tomorrow... I think I will.. as much as I would love to take an extra day to make myself alot better... we just can not afford for me to stay out of work for 2 days..
     
    My progress with getting a smile...wow... I can not beleive by the middle of November, I WILL have a beautiful smile Open-mouthed.Nice pretty white teeth..a complete smile....wow...So far I went down to Pueblo and they got a mold of my gums.... then this past weekend ( Sat 10/27) Dr. Durio got my bite in wax... I bought him a pic I had found of me with my origional teeth smiling big..what he had requested.. he siad he will make my front teeth smaller than what I had in the picture...I hated my front teeth when i had them.. to me they were huge..a part of the reason I ended up having bad oral heigene. On saturday he made my bite, and he said when I go back the following Sunday, the wax will have teeth...he will get my bite aligned with the teeth... and then I will wait 2 weeks because the following weekend will be Shanes birthday and I will have to spend the whole weekend in Pueblo for that..So my plans are to get my dentures November 16th. Stay for the weekend in case i develope sores, and return to Denver Nov. 18th...with a beautiful smile & the knowledge on how to keep it beautiful. I will post pics when it's done.
     
    I am going to post more pics I took recently of visiting with my grandma & when I visited my moms & grandfathers gravesite.
     
    Well off to upload pics and update my "Myspace" as well..

    TGIF!!!

    TGIF!!

    Good Morning!

    Its been a short bit since I was able to update my blog. I have had my obys on visitation since last Friday. Chuck took them back to Paul yesterday. I had begun to miss them almost immediatley.

    My sister got back from her trip to Scottland on Sunday the 14th. She said she enjoyed her triop but wish it wasnt so dreary there. SHe did also notice a huge difference in the water pressure when it came to taking baths and showers.

    I have made plans this weekend to go to Pueblo. My sister offered to pay for me to get my hair done at the salon that she frequents. Naturally I took her up on the offer ( I aint no dummy !! lol!!) I had planned to get my hair done myself...but this way was cheaper & I get to chat it up with my sister :-)

    Me and my sister got on the subject of my teeth...er.. should I say my absense of teeth lol. She was wanting to know how I felt about it and getting dentures. She also wanted to know my opinion of implants. Now I told her that I wanted teeth again, and given the opportunity, I would choose implants over the dentures. ALthough, I know that implants are extremely expensive. She made an oppointment for me for Sunday to see her dentist. He wikl then give her his opinion of what he felt would be the best for me - dentures or implants. I am so excited about this!!

    Beforre I left for work yesterdya, I took a pic of my favorite men and had my son Carl take a pic of me in my uniform with my husband. I will post thise pics here soon. I will have hubby take a pic of me after I get back of my new hair style :-)

    Well, I will close this post for now.. want to get some research done on implants before I have to head off to work today.

    A change in my life

    Good Morning,
     
    Wow I can't beleive its been so long since I last posted here. I am trying my vbest to keep both this site and my "Myspace" site updated. I suppose tho, life gets a bit in the way with updating both sites. So... If this site is not updated properly.. please check my "Myspace" Site.
     
    Anyways... whats been going on with me...well the BIG change in my life latley is my job. On Friday 10/5/07, I went for an interview for Pinkerton Govt Svcs @10 am. Their offices are located in Colorado Springs, SO I had an hour and a half drive ahead of me. I was offered the position and had to go home, Change, and be at the site by 6pm for training. I got out of training @ 10pm. WHwn I got home, I noticed I had received a voice mail form my current job. SHe was telling me that I did not have to worry about comming in for my shift on Saturday, that she had gotten it covered.  I called her back explaining that I had arranged to be able to work the shift on Saturday... she told me dont worry, so I called my new employer and informed him that I was available to work Saturday morning shift from 7am - 3pm. During my training, he mentioned that he needed to fill that shift. And because their work week runs from Friday to Thursday, I was otherwise only oging to have 35 hours in for my first week. SO this would put me at a full 40 hours. Thus, my first check would be 1 full weeks pay. My normal shift is oging to be Monday through Friday 3 pm to 11 pm. Not bad. So today will be my first official work day. I think... lol Since today is Columbus day, Im not sure how business will be at the building I work at because it is more or less a government facility. So we will see.. If it's a light day, then I will feel the full effect of a day when I go to work on Tuesday.
     
    I get paid from my previous job tomorrow. I will turn in my uniforms then. This upcomming weekend is my visitation weekend so I will be happy to see my boys again.
     
    Oh! I forgot to mention that after my interview for the job, I stopped by an old classmates place. Come to find out that she lives no more than 2 blocks away from my new employers office! SO I took a few pics of our visit..They are the Susan & Me album :-)
     
    Well I got a few things to do before I need to get ready for work for today.
