August 20 Another week....Good Morning!
Just wanted to post a quick entry. This past weekend was both Chuck & Carl's birthday. Saturday Carl turned 14 and on Sunday, Chuck turned 40. I did not have my kids this weekend because we had them the previous 2 weekends, but I did call him. He said that he got a couple of spy gear from his dad for his birthday - one was a door alarm & the other was something you could listen through walls. He also told me that he was enjoying his new school year. He spends most of his school day at a highschool taking classes. Then he walks from there to the middle school, where he attends his electives ( Tech ed & Drama). I also spoke with Shane & he said he was enjoying his school year as well.
On sunday, My brother and I saw on the news that there was a festival going on in Golden, and decided to attend it together. So we went t6here.. alot of nice ( & expensive!) art work.... also some very creative people
 . After the festival, we wanted to do something, so decided to take a drive up lookout mountain located in Golden, Co. While up there I took some pictures.. please take a look in my album located on the right hand side of the page.. The pics are in the album titled " Golden Trip". Ive also posted an album that showes where I work, and another that shows a funky plant growing in front of our apartment.If anyone knows what it is.. PLEASE post and let me know... its driving me nuts  .Well I have to contact a security company this morning about applying there for a job... we will see...So I need to get going....

 August 11 Update on my life Good morning!Just thought I would start updating my blog... been awhile since I have been here...Well we have the internet back again... we signed a 2 year agreement with Verizon, which means we are now paying too much for the internet... oh well.. I hope we can keep up with this..
My job now sucks.. I no longer like the company I work for and am hoping to be able to get a new job in the near future. We are currently down to 1 running vehicle and that has to be mainly used by my husband as he works for the post office now and sometimes needs my car to deliver the mail. It is a good thing that I do not work very far from where I live... only 3 miles... so taking the bus is all that less painful lol. I have plans on taking the postal exam in December & hoping I can pass it and get a job there.. I am also thinking about working in the home health care field...I would love to do this, but it requires me to have my own car, and I dont have that right now.
Been looking for another vehicle for Chuck, but he has been getting home so late latley, he has not been able to look at what I have found and to see if he would be interested.
I have had my boys here for the last week and I have loved it! Thy start back to school on the 13th... I can't beleive that both my boys are now in middle school * sigh* how time flies! I have got to admit though... I am loving my boys more and more as now I can start relating to them.
I have been looking for new pen pals & e-pals latley... been trying to keep myself a little busy with that. I'm just finding it tough to get to the post office to mail off my letters...funny to say when my husband works for the post office lol.
A bit of sad news.. my grandmother is not doing too well... was told that she is now down to 86lbs and is hard to awaken from a sleep at times... I am planning on a visit with her soon.. I want my whole family ( me,Chuck & the boys) to make a visit with her at least one last time before she passes away. I have a letter for her as well that I need to get mailed off to her. I love her and miss the good times with her.. she is a wonderful lady... always has been.
Well I need to get Carl in the tub and get a few things done b4 I have to head off to work today... working 2p-10p today.
