September 23 Bike ride to Byers, CoGood evening,
Well, we just got back about an hour ago from our bike ride. This was our plan last night: we thought about taking 285 west over Kenossha pass down into Fairplay and then North on HWY 9 over Hoosier Pass and into Breckenridge. From there down into Frisco to catch I-70 going back east. Well.. We only ended up making it to just a bit north of Byers. We had to turn back around due to the weather. We were expecting a rain/ thunder storm coming in, but we were being optimistic about how far we would be able to make it lol. Please check out the "Trip to Byers" album for some senic pics we took. On the way up, we stopped at a place called Tiny Town. Now this is a small town that is made up for small kids. They have buildings for the kids to go into, and they have buildings that are replicas of landmarks around town. One day I will take pics of the actual landmarks and put them side by side on here. Untill then.. just enjoy these pics. Chuck will be heading home soon.. On a closing note.... I am soo ready for bed, but I did want to make a very quick post so I'm not running behind on my blogging lol. Today my brother and I went to a local car show. I posted an album of some of the beautiful cars that were there & I took pics of. This is the 44th ave Grill car show folder.
Today I also made up Myspace account and learned how to pimp it out! It was so much fun! I also made Chuck's myspace look nice as well :)
Me & Rob are planning on a motorcycle ride up into the mountains tomorrow ...er... make that later Today lol I plan on taking alot of pics .. so look for a new folder of pics tomorrow.
Well I need to get some rest before this long ride tomorrow.

September 19 Happy Hump Day!Good Morning,
Wow, another week half way over with ..not a while lot been going on this week.. still working security for a company I am finding out I don't like more & more. I am looking around for another job, but nothing has come about as of yet. My marriage is still very rocky and I no longer know what to think about it. I love Chuck, and I hate him.. just like our song says... Maybe we will stay together forever and drive each other nuts the rest of our lives? LOL!
I found this comic strip while surfing the net and just had to post it .... Just in case someone actually visited my blog lol -- Sorry it posts tiny, but click on it and it will load so you can read it.

Kitty September 11 6 Years and never forgottenGood Morning
 Yes... how time flies... It has been six years since the 9-11 attack. This day has been very very tough for me since loosing my mother last year. Honestly I can't deal with it. The only way I can get through today is by trying to ignore what today is as much as possible. This is tough to do because it is throwen in everyones face through the media all day long
 . I will never forget those that lost heir life, but with no longer having my best friend here on earth with me to share life with, The fear and uncertantity of what today means is just too much for my heart to bear.Never forgotten .. the victims of 9-11-01
September 09 Culture Head Car,Truck, & Bike ShowGood Evening!Just wanted to make a quick post of the events I attended this weekend. On Saturday, I attended the Arvada Harvest Festival... I ended up not taking many pics, only took some of the animals they had at the petting zoo.. I post a couple of them. Then on Sunday I went with my brother to a car,truck & bike show near us. I am going to post many of these pics as the work that some of the people have put into their vehicles is amazing! I am glad I went to this :-)

 September 06 Fall will soon be hereGood morning,
Wow... it's already been a couple of weeks since I last updated this..... how time flies when your living life. So here is ( hopefully) a quick update with me:
Chuck is still out of work and looing for work. At times, I think he is depressed.. On days he gets out of the house and applies for jobs or goes to interviews, he will come home and do nothing else around the house.... Other days, he does absolutley nothing and it seems he has no motivation to go out and get a job any time soon. I know how fustrating it can be to look for a job and get turned down or not hear anything back. I love him still the same though.
I got a new job... I am now once again, working in the security field. I am making more money than I was at King Soopers & I get holiday pay more often :) I am working at a construction site, which has its up's and downs...There is an owl that lives on the site and I saw him for the first time Tuesday night... It was soo cool!! That was also the first time I had ever seen a wild owl! Although there are them days ( like tonight) where it is SOOOOOOO BORING! I didnt make contact with anyone and nothing happened...*sigh* Mainly all I do is drive around the site and through the site watching for anyone that tries to steal property on the site.
I had visitation with my boys this past weekend... We went to the "Taste of Colorado " on Saturday... we all enjoyed it too.. Chuck did not go , but my brother, Rob, Went with us for a bit... he had to take off early cuz he had to work that afternoon. Im posting a pic we had taken over there on this thread.. hope everyone enjoys seeing a recent pic of all of us
 This upcoming weekend Me & rob will probabily stop at a festival in Arvada on Saturday ( or at least I have plans too), and on Sunday, we are going to go to a car show.. I look forward to that! Rob is hoping to be able to meet this " hot blond on a sport bike" that he has been emailing back and for with there..I hope they continue a friendship... it would be good for him.
Wow... look at the time... It's after 1am.. I need to head to bed.... so I will close for now....

Just received a call that my job is taking me off the site I have been working at for the last couple of weeks. My boss says that the client ( Roach) wanted this employee that returned to the company. SO now I will be working at a place where you are REQUIRED to use your own vehicle.. and that puts 60 + miles on your car a night...and the hours suck ( 6p-3am). So... now I need another job ASAP!!! UGH!! |
